In the main-event Cobia "The Soldier" Breedy of  Hyattsville, MD and Silver Spring, MD's Sulaiman Segawa battled for the vacant WBC Continental Americas Featherweight championship title. The fight was cut short due to a accidental headbutt in the second-round causing the bout to be called a no contest technical decision.

In the co-feature Washington, DC native and former WBO Super Lightweight champion DeMarcus "Chop Chop" Corley defeated Lenwood Dozier of Belcamp, MD by six-round unanimous decision.

DeMarcus Corley was in control of the fight from start to finish. Corley landed shots from a distance and close inside to the body of Dozier. Dozier was slow to counter while Corley pressed him against the ropes many times during each round. It wasn't any hard power shots causing damage, but Corley scored easily in every round. All three judge scored it unanimously for Corley 60-55? and 60-54 twice.

Corley's veteran record is now (52-33-1, 28) while Lenwood Dozier is now (10-28-3,5 KO's).

In a six-round light heavyweight contest between Greenbelt, MD's "Vanilla Gorilla" Sam Crossed and veteran Ronald "Salvaje" Montes of Barranquilla, Colombia they fought their way to a majority draw.

Slow start through the first three rounds of this scheduled six rounder. Both fighters didn't establish themselves as the one to take control of the contest. Montes started to be the more busier fighter as the rounds continued by keeping his punches going while Crossed tried to counter. Crossed did land a hard right hand one or two times but didn't hurt Montes at all. Montes and Crossed continued to circle the ring and clinch but never take control of any rounds. One judge did score the contest for Crossed with 59-57 but the two other judges had it 57-57 a majority draw.

Crossed is now (11-1-1, 7 KO's) while Ronald Montes is (19-14-1, 17 KO's)/

Washington, DC's Jalil "Major" Hackett defeated Laterie Woodberry of Roanoke, VA by first-round TKO.

Hackett deposited shots to the body early and often to send Woodberry to the canvas three times. Hackett came forward the entire round as Woodberry tried to come inside but was met with Hackett's short shots that were timed perfectly as Woodberry came in close. A good use of the jab set up more hooks and uppercuts for Hackett. It was left and rights to the body that caught Woodberry when he got in range. After the final right hook to the body Woodberry clearly couldn't continue so the contest was waived off at 2:58 of the first-round.

Jalil Hackett is now (2-0, 2 KO's) while Laterie Woodberry is now (2-11-2)
******************************************************************
Baltimore, MD super bantamweight Dominique Crowder won by knockout over Ira Terry of Memphis TN.

Crowder did a good job of keeping Ira Terry at the end of his jab in the opening round. Terry tried to slip the jab but Crowder used good footwork to move away causing Terry to fall into the ropes. Crowder opened up round two using that same jab as Terry tried to get inside to work the body. Crowder regained control and moved the fight to the center of the ring where he landed a hard right hand to the face of Terry sending him down to the canvas. He wasn't able to make it to his feet and the bout to stopped at 1:04 of the second-round.

Dominique Crowder remains undefeated at (10-0, 7 KO's) while Ira Terry falls to (27-18, 16 KO's).
******************************************************************
In a schedule four-round heavyweight contest Christopher Arnold of Fredericksburg, VA defeated Terrick Maven of Vineland, NJ by knockout.

Both fighters went right to work trying to land the big shot on each other early. At times it was a lot of holding and hitting behind the head from both fighters as well. Referee David Braslow called timeout to bring both fighters together and told them to keep it clean. The round continued and Arnold landed a perfect uppercut to the chin of Maven sending him limp to the canvas. Maven didn't beat the count and the contest was over at 2:09 of the opening round.

Christopher Arnold's record stays perfect at (4-0, 4 KO's) while Terrick Maven starts his career off at (0-1).

Results From Jeter Promotions Card At Live! Casino and Hotel

Here are the results from the eight bout card put on by Jeter Promotions Saturday night at Live! Casino in Hanover, MD.
(Photos courtesy of Daniel Cork)

In the main event of a scheduled 10-round super featherweight contest Washington, DC's Jordan "ShortDog" White won by TKO over Joe Perez of San Diego, CA.

It was a good opening feel out round for White and Perez. Nothing exciting for the crowd until White landed a perfect overhand right that knocked Perez off balance causing his glove to touch the canvas. Referee David Braslow gave Perez the eight count as the bell sounded to end the round. In round two White maintained a easy pace by keeping his jab going to trick Perez into slacking off his defense. White came out in the third round using his jab and then followed it with a hard right hand to drop Perez to the canvas. Perez made it to his feet and finished the round but it came with a price. White was in full control of the fight as he stood in the center of the ring and just boxed Perez with the basics. White sent Perez down to the canvas with a two punch combination in round five. After being knocked down a couple of times Perez kept coming forward even with his lack of offense to fight off White. White opened a cut over the right eye of Perez causing referee David Braslow to call timeout so the ringside physician could look at the cut. Perez got the okay to continue and he finished round six. After going to his corner the fight was waived off after the sixth round was completed.

Jordan White improves to (12-1, 9 KO's) while Perez now has a record of (15-5-2,10 KO's)

In the co-feature Laurel, MD super middleweight Demond "D'Best At It" Nicholson defeates Victor "The Spartan" Darocha of Miami, FL by way of Sao Paolo, Brazil by eight-round unanimous decision.

Nicholson established himself early in the opening round by landing shots up and downstairs on Darocha. Darocha came out in the second round trying to make use of his jab but was easily countered by the right hand of Nicholson. Nicholson used round three to fight inside with Darocha. Both fighters spent most of the round head to head and in a clinch until referee Bill Clancy separated them. In round four Nicholson was landing the harder shots but Darocha was trying to do the same as they worked around the ring. In round five Nicholson started to sit down on his punches more and the power came with that change. Bodywork was the visual for round seven. Both fighters did an equal amount to slow each other down. In the eighth and final round it was Nicholson who dug a little deeper and finished the fight strong by landing numerous scoring punches.
All three judges scored the contest for Demond Nicholson 78-74 and 79-73 twice.

Nicholson improves to (24-4-1, 20 KO's) while Victor Darocha falls to (9-6-1, 6 KO's).

Germantown, MD Ebrima Jawara came up short when he lost by unanimous decision to Christian "Veneno" Otero of New York City in their six-round featherweight contest.

This contest was pretty evenly matched as far as skill set in the opening round. Both fighters showed their use of the jab to set up punches and defend themselves on the inside and outside. In round two both Jawara and Otero did well slipping each others punches with neither landing solid shots. Referee Kenny Chevalier did give Otero two warnings for low blows and told him that a point would be taken away if it happened again. In the third-round Otero had Jawara fighting backwards as he used his jab and moved inside to go to the body of Jawara. Otero did a great job of mixing up his punches to keep Jarawa on the defensive in round four. Otero was starting to turn up the pressure in round five but landed want referee Kenny Chevalier saw as another low blow causing a point to be taken from Otero. With a point being taken away Otero used a stalking technique to attack Jawara by landing overhand rights and punches to the body. Jawara did all he could to defend but Otero kept pressing forward as the fight ended. All three judges scored the contest for Otero 59-54 and 58-55 twice.

Ebrima Jawara falls to (4-2, 1 KO) while Christain Otero remains undefeated at (4-0, 2 KO's).

In a rematch but this time for the super middleweight American Boxing Federation Atlantic title, Baltimore, MD's Anthony Williams won a six-round unanimous decision over Ricardo Vasquez Becerril on Kinston, NC.

Williams opened up using his jab but not consistent enough to keep Becerril from getting inside to land a few body shots. Williams decided to exchange punches on the inside with Becerril but that worked in the shorter Becerril's favor with him landing some good body shots. Even when Williams wasn't using his jab he was able to land some good counter right hands when Becerril slowed his punch output down. In the fifth-round Williams was landing shots that Becerril gave a response that looked to have him wobbled but he returned with his own shots that backed Williams into a corner. Williams closed the final round by deciding to use his jab to set up some right hands. Becerril spent most of that round using defense. All three judges saw the contest for Williams with the scores of 60-57 and 59-55 twice.

Williams improves to (5-1, 2 KO's) while Ricardo Becerril is now 2-10-1, 2 KO's).

The first-round started slow with the fighters trying to find their range. Things got more action packed as they stood in the center of the ring exchanging shots in round two. Quintana added to his punching power and started throwing some shots that Chambers took well. Chambers responded with his own power shots to back up Quintana. As the rounds mounted up the punches from each fighter did as well. Hard shots continued to fly from each fighter as they did well absorbing the impact. The fighters fought a hard fight for the fans inside of The Hall at  the Live! Casino and Hotel. The contest looked to be a difficult bout for the judges to score. Judge Paul Wallace scored it 58-56 for Quintana while Judges David Braslow and Eric Irizarry scored 58-56 for Chambers.

Chambers record improves to (6-0-1, 3 KO's) while Ricardo Quintana suffers his first defeat and now is (4-1, 1 KO).
