Lorenzo "Truck" Simpson Defeats Heywood In Australia




Baltimore, MD' Lorenzo "Truck" Simpson won by six-round unanimous decision over Marcus Heywood of New Zealand. This middleweight bout took place at the Rod Laver Arena, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on the undercard of Daven Haney vs. George Kambosos rematch.

Simpson dominated Heywood throughout the contest and even sent him to the canvas. Simpson improves to (12-0, 7 KO's) while Heywood falls to (6-5-1, 4 KO's).






Results From Jeter Promotions Card From THE HALL At The Maryland Live Casino



Here are the results from last night's eleven bout card presented by Jeter Promotions at the Maryland Live Casino in Hanover, Maryland.

In a eight-round main-event for the WBC USNBC Silver Bantamweight title Elijah Pierce defeated Daron Williams by second-round TKO at 1:43. Williams went down three time before the stoppage. Williams falls to (9-2,6 KO's) while Pierce improves to (15-2, 12 KO's).


In the co-featured super featherweight contest Francois Scarboro Jr. defeated Antonio Dunton El Jr. by a competitive four-round unanimous decision with the scores from all three judges being 40-36. Scarboro improves to (3-0, 2 KO's) Dunton El Jr. falls to (2-1-2).


Mansaborie Conde got a four-round unanimous decision against Brandon Clark in a super middleweight contest. Conde dropped Clark to the canvas at the end of the first-round. Code improves to (7-0, 5 KO's) while Clark falls to (2-4, 1 KO's).

 

In a rematch with the vacant ABF Super Bantamweight Title on the line Jaqeem Hutcherson and Ernest Hall fought their way to a majority draw. One judge scored the bout for Hall at 59-55 while the other two judges scored it the same at 57-57. Hutcherson is now (6-1-1) while Hall is now (4-2-1, 1 KO).


Joseph Veazey defeated Rashad Kilpatrick by TKO at 0:46 of the second-round. Kilpatrick went down and onto ring apron at the very end of round 1. The fight was stopped because of a series of unanswered punches. Veazey is now (8-0, 5 KO's) while Kilpatrick falls to (5-6, 2 KO's).



In another super middleweight contest Derrick Vann got a split decision victory against A.J. Williams. One judge's scorecard was 59-55 for Williams and the other two judges scored it 58-56 for Vann. Vann improves to (3-5) while Williams falls to (6-2, 2 KO's).



In a ABF Super Bantamweight title bout  Brandon Chambers got a majority decision over Vit Y. One judge saw the contest even at 57-57 and 59-55 was the score from the other two judges. Chambers is now (9-0-1, 5 KO's) while Vit Y is (7-2-1, 4 KO's).



In a four-round super lightweight bout Stacey Selby defeated Maurice Anthony by unanimous decision. A knockdown was scored after Selby's knee touched the canvas but he still did enough throughout to win the fight. Judges scored the contest 39-37 and 38-37 twice. Selby improves to (4-0, 3 KO's) as Anthony falls to (3-5, 3 KO's).



In a scheduled four-round bout of debuting featherweights Jeffrey Yu Vienna, Virginia scored a TKO at 2:22 of round 2 against Mateo Diaz of Boise, Idaho.



Baltimore, MD super lightweight Ahmad Muhammad Jones defeated Kani Burnside of Ironton, Ohio by four-round unanimous decision. The judges scored the contest 40-36 and 39-37 twice. Jones improves to (3-0, 2 KO's) as Burnside suffers his first loss of his young career and is now (1-1, 1 KO).



In the opening bout of the Jeter Promotions card DWayne Holmes Jr. of Upper Marlboro, MD defeated Rensley Washington III of Cincinnati, Ohio by unanimous decision. All three judges scored the contest the at 40-36. Holmes improves to (3-0, 2 KO's) while Washington III falls to (1-2).
