Gervonta "Tank" Davis Wins WBA Super Lightweight Title At The Barclays Center In Brooklyn, NY!

Baltimore, MD’s Gervonta Davis battered Jesus Cuellar to win WBA title on the Adrien Broner vs. Jessie Vargas undercard at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. Davis showed he was more dedicated in this fight than he was his his last performance against Francisco Fonseca on August 26 in Las Vegas. Davis wasted no time showing he was the faster fighter in this scheduled twelve-round championship contest. Davis landed a straight left to the body that sent Cuellar to one knee at the halfway point of the second round. Cuellar was able to finish out the round, but he clearly showed he was hurt. Davis came out in the following round, and landed a left uppercut to put Cuellar down for the second time. Cuellar was in trouble while Davis kept coming forward to drop Cuellar with a left, right combination that sent him to the canvas a third time. Referee Benjy Esteves waved the bout off at 2:45 of round three.



 Gervonta "Tank" Davis record remains perfect at (20-0-19 KO's) while Jesus Cuellar is now (28-3, 21 KO's).

Gary Antuanne Russell Dominates In Brooklyn, New York!

Capitol Heights, MD super lightweight Gary Antuanne Russell wins by TKO in a scheduled four-round contest with Andrew Rodgers of Elkhart, IN at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. In this bout Russell showed his power by landing shots consistently to the head and body of Rodgers. In the second round Russell landed a low blow that caused Rodgers to take moment to recover from. In the third-round Russell continued with the aggressive pressure by landing more of the same head and body shots. Referee Arthur Mercante Jr. jumped in to stop the bout at 1:20 of the third round.


Gary Antuanne Russell keeps his knockout streak alive and improves to (5-0, 5 KO's) while Rodgers is now (4-3-1, 2 KOs).

Shyngyskhan Tazhibay Victorious At The Barclays Center In New York!

Tonight at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY on the undercard of Broner vs. Vargas, Washington, DC welterweight Shyngyskhan Tazhibay put on a solid performance in a four-round bout against Isaac Freeman of Los Angeles, CA. Tazhibay knocked Freeman down in the first-round, but Freeman was able to beat the count and finish the contest. During the bout Tazhibay fought through a cut over his right eye, but it didn't stop him from landing the more accurate shots. Two judges scored the bout 40-35, 40-35 and third had it 39-36 giving Shyngyskhan Tazhibay the unanimous decision win. 


Tazhibay remains undefeated at (6-0, 2 KO's) while Isaac Freeman is now  (3-7-1, 3 KO's).

Lamont Roach Jr. Battled To A Draw In Puerto Rico!



In the main event of Golden Boy on ESPN2 from Puerto Rico, Upper Marlboro, MD's Lamont Roach remains undefeated, but fought to a ten round split draw with veteran fighter Orlando Cruz in a super featherweight bout. The scores were 97-93 for Roach, 96-94 for Cruz, and 95-95 for the draw. 

Lamont Roach Jr. is now (16-0-1, 6 KO's) while Cruz adds another draw to his record of (25-6-2, 13 KO's).
