Jordan White Gets The Win In California!

On a Golden Boy Promotions card Jordan "Short Dog" White of Waldorf, Md wins by first-round knockout over Cristian Renteria of Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico at the Fantasy Springs Hotel and Casino in Indio, California.

White has made a tremendous leap to get back into action inside the ring. White suffered a hand injury in a bout he had with Adam Lopez on May 20, 2017 that kept him out of the ring for over a year. Prior to coming into tonight's bout with Renteria, White bounced back strong after recovering from the hand injury with a impressive fourth-round TKO over Francisco Rodriguez on September 22nd at Bowie State University in Bowie, MD. Jordan White and his team look to close out 2018 strong with another scheduled fight at the new Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington, DC on Saturday, December 1st. White's win tonight improves his record to (6-1, 5 KO's) while Renteria falls to (7-7, 6 KO's).

Jordan "ShortDog" White weighed in at 125.8 pounds in preparation for his four-round featherweight contest with Cristian Renteria, who weighed 125.4 pounds of Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. The two will battle on the Golden Boy card Thursday , Nov 8th at the Fantasy Springs Hotel and Casino in Indio, California.

Dominic Wade Signs With GH3 Promotions!

GH3 Promotions signs former world title challenger Dominic Wade to a promotional contract

GH3 Promotions has signed former world title challenger and middleweight contender Dominic Wade to a Promotional deal.

Wade was a four-time Junior Olympic Champion and a participant in the 2007 Olympic Boxing Trials.

Wade, now 28 years-old of Largo, Maryland has a record of (18-1, 12 KO's). He turned professional on March 14, 2009 with a 1st round stoppage over undefeated Chris Davis (3-0).  Wade climbed up the rankings with victories over Michael Faulk (2-0), Grover Young (4-0), Nick Brinson (16-1-2) and former world champion Sam Soliman. Those wins catapulted Wade to face unified Middleweight world champion Gennady Golovkin on April 23, 2016 at The Forum in Inglewood, California. Wade suffered his only professional defeat in that fight, and has not fought since the world title opportunity.

"I am excited to get back in the ring, and the show the world what I got.  I will get back to the top of the rankings, and do it better, and more proper this time. It is time to show the world that I am back.  I want to take my time until the big fights come up.  I can see me in fights against Canelo Alvarez, Golvkin, Daniel Jacobs, Jermall Charlo, Demetrius Andrade or any of the other top middleweights out there.  I feel that after a couple of fights, I will be up there with the top names in the division.  I am just excited to do my thing.  I got to the top of the rankings with just natural talent.  Now I have a good team behind me with GH3 Promotions, I have a great work ethic, and I am back with my original trainer Adrian Davis.  I feel the best is still ahead of me",said Wade.

Dusty Hernandez-Harrison Returns To The Ring In His Hometown Of Washington, DC.!

Welterweight contender Dusty Hernandez-Harrison will return to the ring to take on James Winchester in the 10-round main event on Saturday, December 1st at The Entertainment and Sports Arena located at 1100 Oak Drive, SE, Washington, DC.

Harrison, 24 of Washington, D.C. has an undefeated record of (30-0-1,15 KO's) turned
professional at the age of 17. Harrison has racked up wins against Josh Torres (12-2-1), former world title challenger Michael Clark (44-11-1) & Tommy Rainone (22-5-1).
In his last bout, Harrison took a ten-round unanimous decision over Thomas LaManna (21-1) to capture the USBA Welterweight title on September 15, 2016 in Philadelphia.

Winchester of Reidsville, North Carolina has a record of (20-13, 8 KO's), and he's a 15 year professional who has a win over John Butler (23-3) and has taken on fighters such as Matt Korobov, Glen Tapia, Luis Arias, Terrell Gausha and his last bout when he went the distance with top-prospect Jaron Ennis on March 31, 2017 in Philadelphia.

More fighters from the Beltway Boxing area will be on this card such as welterweight Kareem Martin (10-2, 3 KO's), who will take part in the eight-round co-feature.  Also appearing in an eight-round bout will be light heavyweight Alexander Johnson (16-4-1, 7 KO's).

In six-round bouts will be cruiserweight Sam Crossed (7-0, 5 KO's) and heavyweight George Harris (1-0, 1 KO).

Results From The CYNATION SPORTS Card In Fort Washington, Maryland!

In the main event of the CYNATION SPORTS card at Rosecroft Raceway in Fort Washington, MD  "The Sexy Albanian" Genc Pllana of Hagerstown, MD won by majority decision over Jason Bell of District Heights, MD in their six-round super middleweight bout. 

In this bout Pllana had his guard down, but made it effective enough to land a good jab on Bell throughout the rounds. Bell landed some good shots on Pllana when Pllana backed straight up and was off balance. It was in the second-round where Pllana turned up his scoring by landing some clean left and right hands on Bell as the round came to a close. Bell would battle back in the middle rounds as he pressured Pllana moving him against the ropes to land some good shots. It was in the final round where Pllana put together some good combinations to get judges Vic DeWysocki and Steve Rados to score the bout his way at 59-55. The third judge John Gradowski saw the bout as a draw at 57-57. Pllana is now (2-0, 1 KO) while Bell loses for the first time and he is now (3-1, 1 KO).

In another super middleweight bout, twin brother Bustin Bell, also from District Heights, MD scored a second-round TKO over DeAndre West of Danville, VA. Bell came out from the start of the bout throwing some hard body shots that backed up West throughout the contest. Bell continued landing head and body shots as referee Vic DeWysocki told West to show him that he could defend himself as the round closed. As the second-round started it was much of the same from Bell. Bell backed West up against the ropes with a combination of shots causing DeWysocki to stop the contest at 1:19. Bell remains perfect at (4-0, 3 KO's) while West's record drops to (0-2).

In a six-round welterweight contest Shynggyskhan Tazhibay of Washington, DC by way of Karaganda, Kazakhstan won by unanimous decision over Juan De La Cruz Rodriguez of Haymarket, VA. Tazhibay did a good job of avoiding Rodriquez's jab and countering with his own hard right hand shots. In the middle rounds Tazhibay didn't use his jab as much allowing Rodriquez to score a few shots of his own. Tazhibay was the more busier fighter and all the judges,  (John Gradowski,  Steve Rados and Brent Bovell) saw the bout 59-55.  Tazhibay remains undefeated at (8-0, 2 KO's) while Rodriguez is now (8-12-1, KO's).

Lightweight Jahmal Dyer of Baltimore, MD spent a short time in the ring as he got a first-round TKO over "Joltin" Jesse Carradine, Jr. of Decatur, GA. Both fighters started the round out using their jabs to establish distance. Dyer's jab was more effective as he used it to set up a perfect right hand that landed on the chin of Carradine sending to the canvas. Carradine looked a little stunned by the punch, and made a effort to get up. As he tried to stand up he fell back to the canvas. He finally made it to his feet, but referee Kenny Chevalier clearly saw Carradine suffered a right ankle injury and put a stop to the bout at 1:48. Dyer raises his record to (7-1, 5 KO's). Carradine's record drops to (8-6-2, 4 KO's).

In a four-round jr. middleweight contest Jonathan Burrs of Frederick, MD won by unanimous decision over Bryant "The Punisher" Costello of Liberty, NY by way of Puerto Rico. Burrs was able to land some good punches on the inside of Costello in every round. Costello had his moments as he saw the opportunity to land some counter shots during some even exchanges as Burr guard was open. All three judges scored the bout 39-37 for Burrs. He improves his record to (1-1) as Bryant Costello starts his career off at (0-1).

In the opening bout George Harris of Washington, DC via Alexandria, VA defeated Damion Reed of Danville, VA by TKO. Harris was the more active fighter by landing some hard body shots that he followed with a right hand to the head of Reed to send him down for a eight count in round one. In the opening of the second round Harris continued to land more body shots, but this time he landed a solid left hook to send Reed down for the final time at 39 seconds of round two.

George Harris  starts his professional career off at (1-0, 1 KO) as Damion Reed falls to (3-19-1, 1 KO).
