Franchon Crews-Dezurn Championship Bout Changes To A Two Title Rematch!

WBC Super Middleweight champion Franchon Crews-Dezurn was focused on arriving in California looking to have her first title defense against Alejandra Jimenez at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, CA, but things changed. Alejandra Jimenez wasn't able to enter the United States because of Visa issues so that bout was called off.

Maricela "La Diva" Cornejo (13-3-5 KO's) of  Los Angeles, CA will take Jimenez's place. Cornejo lost the WBC title to Crews-Dezurn by 10-round majority decision close to one year ago in Las Vegas, NV.  Cornejo won her last bout by an eight-round unanimous decision over Erin Toughill on January 27th in Hollywood, CA.

Franchon Crews-Dezurn weighed in at 167.8 while Cornejo weighed 166.8 for this sudden rematch. Also the vacant WBO Super Middleweight title has been added to make this bout even more significant.

The bout will be streamed live on DAZN.
