Weights From New York, Davis and Romero Make Weight
Gervonta Davis and Rolando Romero both came in under the 135 lb. weight limit for today’s weigh-in as they set for tomorrow’s lightweight title fight at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Gervonta Davis (26-0, 24 KO's), undefeated five-time world champion defends his WBA lightweight title against unbeaten mandatory challenger Rolando Romero (14-0, 12 KO's) in the main event at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Saturday May 28. The co-main event features two-division world champion Erislandy Lara in a title defense for his WBA middleweight belt against Gary O’Sullivan. Also on the televised portion of the card, Jesus Alejandro Ramos will take on Lucas Santamaria in a super welterweight contest and in a super featherweight contest Eduardo Ramirez will face Luis Melendez.
