Marq Johns Continues To Impress!

Marq Johns is keeping his name on the Beltway Boxing list of fighters to watch. Johns is the Beltway Boxing 2014 Knockout Of The Year Award winner and continues to keep that title going with a solid performance against Bryan Nevarez. Johns set up a counter right hand in round 3 that ended the scheduled 4 round contest. When Nevarez hit the canvas his corner immediately jumped to stop the bout but, referee Brent Bovell didn't see him and the ten count continued. Johns won the bout by KO in round 3.
Johns improves to 6-0-1, (5KO's) while Nevarez fall to 2-2, (1KO).

Mike "Yes Indeed" Reed Stays Undefeated!

Reed puts on another solid performance against the veteran Eddie Soto. Reed sent Soto to the canvas 4 times in the bout. The speed of Reed was just too much for Soto. After the final knockdown the corner of Soto had the Commission step up to the edge of the ring to stop the fight at 2:10 of round 2. 

Reed improves to 13-0, (6KO's) while the veteran Eddie Soto falls to 12-8, (5 KO's)

Patrick Harris Dominates With Flawless Performance!

Harris used the body shots to perfection. He landed so many solid shots on Carlos Acevedo that all the energy was completely drained from Acevedo. Harris get the TKO win at 36 seconds of round 2.

Harris moves to 5-0, (4 KO's) while Acevedo falls to 3-0.

Renaldo Gaines Gets Sixth Win!

Renaldo Gaines found a home for the left hand against Marquis Pierce. Gaines dominated all four rounds of the bout, but Pierce at times tried to fight his way back into the fight. Each time Pierce landed one shot Gaines came back with two or three more harder shots to keep control of the rounds. The judges scored the contest 40-36, and 39-37 twice giving Gaines the unanimous decision win.

Gaines improves to 6-2, (1KO) while Pierce falls to 1-5.

Myke Fox dominates Thomas DeLeon!

Myke Fox opened the bout up using his solid jab that opened up the opportunity to land a shot that sent DeLeon to the canvas. After the first knockdown Fox continued to pressure DeLeon against the corner landing multiple head and body punches that made the referee step in to stop the bout. Fox gets the TKO win at 1:51  the first round.

Fox improves to 6-0, (2KO's) while DeLeon falls to 0-2.

Albi Sadikaj Returns With Strong Finish!

After a 18 month layoff Albi Sadikaj entered into the third bout of his career against the debuting Jose Alex Rivera-Ayala. Ayala started round 1 throwing wildly. Sadikaj and his corner adjusted in round 2 very well. Sadikaj landed a solid right hand that sent Ayala into the ropes counting as a knockdown. A few seconds later Sadikaj lands another hard shot that ends the bout at 1:42 of round 2 giving him the TKO victory.
Sadikaj improves to 3-0, (3KO's).

Alexandru Marin Improves To 6-0!

In his first six round contest Alexandru Marin landed lots of punches, but couldn't get any clean solid shots in that could have finished the fight in the earlier rounds. He was still able to win every round with scores of 60-53, and 60-54 twice on the judges score cards.
