Junior lightweight prospects Misael Lopez and Jordan White will square off on March 10 in an eight-round bout that will take place inside the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Jordan White (10-1, 8 KO's), who resides in Washington, DC, stopped previously-unbeaten Rolando Solis in his last bout on February 28 of last year. The 23-year-old has won his last six bouts, five by knockout, since losing by unanimous decision to Adam Lopez in May 2017. White is definitely not the same fighter from 2017.

The 24 year old Lopez (11-0, 5 KO's) is originally from Agua Prieto, Mexico and now resides in Denver, Colorado, last fight was on October 2019 in Houston. The outcome of the fight was a one-sided victory for Lopez, but the Texas Commission changed the  result to a no-contest when the victor tested positive for banned substance. Lopez has fought on a ShoBox telecast back in September 2018 when he defeated James Wilkins, who was undefeated at that time. 

The Showtime, ShoBox telecast will start at 9 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. PT. 

Gary Antonio "Another"Russell Remains Undefeated With Technical Decision Win Over Juan Carlos Payano!

Capitol Heights, MD bantamweight Antonio "Another" Russell defeated former world champion Juan Carlos "Baby Pacquiao" Payano of Miami, FL by way of La Vega, Dominican Republic by seventh round stoppage due to an accidental headbutt that happened in the fifth round. The bout took place at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, CT, live on Showtime.

Since the accidental headbutt took place past four rounds a winner was announced. Judge David Sutherland scored it 58-56 Russell, and both Tom Schreck and Tom Carson saw it the same at 59-55 for Russell as well. 

Russell improves to (18-0, 12 KO's) while Payano falls to (21-5, nine KO's).

Quarles Travels To Mexico For TKO Victory In Mexico!

Brandon Quarles of Alexandria, VA made a successful return to the ring tonight after spending more than a year recovering from a nearly fatal motorcycle accident.

In this scheduled six-round middleweight contest Quarles defeated Lauro Alcantar by third round TKO at the Gimnasio Profit Cross in Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico. Quarles sent Alcantar to the canvas in the first and second rounds before getting the stoppage in the third round.

Brandon Quarles has a record of (22-5-1, 11 KO's) while Lauro Alcantar falls to (9-10-1, 1 KO).

Myke Fox vs Lucas Santamaria finalized after both fighters stepped on the scale in Las Angeles,  CA! 

Forestville, MD welterweight Myke Fox and Lucas Santamaria of Garden Grove, CA, both tipped the scale at 145.8 pounds in preparation for their 10-round head to head battle on Saturday, August 8th at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, CA. The bout is part of a Premier Boxing Champions card and will be televised on Fox Sports 1 at 10 PM ET.

Marcus Bates Drops Second Chance Bout With Ra'eese Aleem!

Washington DC super bantamweight Marcus Bates world-title cut short tonight on the Showtime Championship Boxing telecast at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn.

Ra' eese Aleem of Las Vegas, NV by way of Muskegon, MI gave a championship caliber performance as he out boxed Bates before stopping him at 2:18 in the 10th round of a scheduled 12-round WBA title eliminator bout.
It was an even more difficult fight for Bates as he injured his right hand or wrist during the contest. 

Bates falls to (11-2-1, 8 KO's) while Aleem continues to seek a championship title shot with a record of (17-0, 11 KO's).

Bates Competes In WBA Super Bantamweight Eliminator Bout Saturday In Connecticut !

Washington, DC super bantamweight Marcus "Dreamcrusher" Bates will compete in a 12-round WBA title elimination bout on Saturday, August 1 at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, CT. The bout will be televised live on Showtime.

Bates, who is ranked number seven in the world by the WBA (11-1, eight KO's), will try to avenge his only loss when he faces the undefeated Raeese "The Beast" Aleem of Las Vegas, NV by way of Muskegon, MI (16-0, 10 KO's).

The two met on April 6th, 2018 in Philadelphia, PA and Aleem won an eight-round unanimous decision. Since that contest, Bates has won three bouts in a row while Aleem has won five straight.

Aleem was originally scheduled to face Tramaine Williams in the co-feature but Williams was inserted into the main event against Angelo Leo when Leo's scheduled opponent, Stephen Fulton, tested positive for COVID-19.  Williams and Leo will battle for the vacant WBO Junior Featherweight title.

The card will get underway at 9 PM ET.
