GET DOWN OR LAY DOWN September 22, 2012

More bouts have been added to the Saturday, September 22 Jeter Promotions card at Club One Fitness in Millersville, MD.

There will be a six-round contest for the vacant USBU (United States Boxing Union) heavyweight title.  Undefeated "Slick" Nick Kisner of Ferndale, MD will take on Norfolk, VA's Dennis Benson.  Kisner (10-0-1, five KO's) makes his first appearance in 2012 with this bout.  Kisner last fought on August 19 of last year and won a four-round unanimous decision over Rayshawn Myers in Baltimore, MD.  Benson (1-3, one KO) has lost three straight since winning his pro debut.

In a six-round middleweight rematch, Baltimore, MD's "The Golden Greek" Elias Bouloubassis battles Stephen Franklin of Martinsburg, WVA.  The undefeated Bouloubassis (7-0-5, five KO's) is coming off a first-round TKO of William Armstead on July 14 in Washington, DC.  Franklin (0-7) last fought on February 25 at Club One and lost a four-round unanimous decision to Lee Snow.  The last time Bouloubassis and Franklin met was in June of 2011 in Baltimore and Bouloubassis won a four-round unanimous decision.

Also on the card, Upper Marlboro, MD heavyweight Duane Mobley will take on Dave Fleming of Lynchburg, VA in a six-round contest.  Mobley (4-0, three KO's) scored a first-round TKO over Ryan Shay on the July 14th card in DC.  Fleming (2-1, one KO) will be trying to bounce back after suffering his first pro loss -- a four-round unanimous decision to Franklin Edmondson on August 18 in Greensboro, NC.

Baltimore, MD middleweight Dan Cannaday returns to face DC'sIssa Coulibaly in a four-round contest.  Cannaday (1-0) has not fought since making his pro debut and winning a four-round unanimous decision over Stephen Franklin in March of 2011 in Ranson, WVA.  By contrast, Coulibaly (0-2) was in the ring this past Saturday in DC and lost a four-round unanimous decision toFarrad Price.

As BATB mentioned earlier, the main event features Tony "Mo Better" Jeter (13-3-1, nine KO's) battling Tyrel Brown (7-2, seven KO's) for the WBC Fecarbox Middleweight title.  Undefeated Beltway Boxers Venroy "Hard Work" July andJames "Keep Em' Sleepin'" Stevenson are also slated to appear on the card.
