Jimmy Lange vs Tony Jeter
Jeter came to the Patriot Center to do exactly what he said he was going to do. Lange fought a different type of fight. Instead of staying on the outside to use his jag, he made it the type of fight Jeter wanted. Lange for some reason decided to fight in close. Jeter took advantage of that and landed solid shots in every round. Referee Steve Smoke took points away 4 different times from Jeter for low blows and also Lange scored a knock down in the early rounds. With losing the points the judges scored the bout 94-91 for Lange, 94-91 Jeter, and 93-92 Jeter, giving Jeter the split decision win.
