Baltimore Boxing Raises Money And Donates 100% To Needy Family!
There will be a amateur card at Michael’s Eighth Avenue in Glen Burnie, MD to raise money to cover medical bills for Nicholas Tasker, who is eight years old and battling a rare form of abdominal cancer. The Tasker family will receive 100% of the money to help offset his medical bills. A 50/50 raffle as well as a silent auction is in place to further assist the Tasker family.
The card will honor the memory of the late Baltimore heavyweight "The American Dream" Mike Dietrich, who passed away in March of 2010 at the age of 26.
Tasker will receive the Mike Dietrich American Dream Award from Baltimore Boxing’s Steve Wheeler.
Baltimore-area heavyweights “Dangerous” Dallas Butts and Brian “Bam Bam” Haneschlager will headline the card. The two fighters battled one another before, with Butts coming out on top.
Tickets begin at $25 for the event.
