Super bantamweight Daron "Sweet Tay" Williams out of Washington, DC, had his first five professional fights in Phoenix, AZ. Last night at the ABC Sport Complex in Springfield, VA is where he made his hometown area debut as the main-event. He took on Marquis Pierce of Newark, NJ in a scheduled six-round contest, but Williams handle Pierce in only part of the first-round. Williams looked to be very relaxed until he saw the moment to release a number of various punches to overwhelm Pierce that cause referee Billy Johnson to stop the contest at 1:46 of the round.
Daron Williams remains undefeated with a record of (6-0, 3 KO's) while giving Marquis Pierce his thirteenth loss.

The co-feature involved Capitol Heights, MD super bantamweight Thomas "KO" Snow taking on Stephon McIntyre of Jonesboro, GA in a six-round bout. Snow was able to outwork McIntyre throughout the contest. McIntyre was trying to counter punch Snow but had little success. At times it looked as if McIntyre was trying to come forward, but the veteran southpaw Snow used angles to stay out of trouble. Judge Ron Rodriguez saw the contest, 59-55 and judge Luc Belhumeur scored it 58-56 while Judge Brian Costello scored every round for Snow 60-54 giving him the unanimous decision win.
Thomas Snow is now (19-3, 12 KO's). McIntyre is now (2-35-2).



Philadelphia, PA welterweight prospect Jaron "Boots" Ennis scored an first round TKO over Ayi "Bruce Lee" Bruce of Albany, NY by way of Accra, Ghana. This bout was looked at as a challenge for for Ennis but that was not the case. Bruce wasn't able to throw a single punch because of the fast start of Ennis. From the sound of the bell Ennis landed combination after combination that sent Bruce into the ropes. It was a left hand that sent Bruce down for the eight count and Ennis continued with the pressure to forced referee Billy Johnson to stop the bout at 1:37. Jaron Ennis records remains perfect at (16-0, 14 KO's) while Bruce drops to (23-15, 15 KO's).
Alex Lara, super middleweight out of Manhattan, NY made his pro debut by stopping the debuting Zameze Braswell of Elm City, NC at 2:34 of the first round for the TKO victory. Braswell landed a shot that seemed to put Lara on shaky legs for a few seconds, but Lara quickly recovered. Lara bounced back and sent Braswell to the canvas with a right hand to the head. Braswell beat the count, and Lara landed another right hand that dropped Braswell for a second to get the bout stopped.
