Brandon Quarles Gets Fifth-Round TKO Win At The MGM National Harbor!

Brandon Quarles of Alexandria, VA put on a outstanding performance as he stopped Fidel Monterrosa in the fifth-round of a scheduled six-round middleweight bout. During the opening two rounds of the contest it was an even exchange of punched between both fighters. Quarles was able to get the upper hand when his body attack started to show their effects on Monterrosa. In round five Quarle kept attacking the body and it paid off when he sent Monterrosa to the canvas. Monterrosa beat the eight count but Quarled jumped back on his causing Monterrosa to turn his back. The referee stepped in to stop the contest at 2:01of roun d five. 

Brandon Quarles improves to (19-4-1, 10 KO's) while Fidel Monterrosa falls to (38-18-1, 30 KO's).
