Temple Hills, MD super middleweight D’Mitrius Ballard got the eight-round unanimous decision win over Alan Campa of Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico on the Golden Boy Promotions undercard at the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, CA.
According to Fightnews.com David Robinett from ringside Campa got a early start with good body work. He was landing left hooks to the body of Ballard. It was Ballard's right hand that consistently landing on Campa that was keeping him in the fight. In the late rounds Ballard was in control. He landed a straight right hand that caused Campa to hold to buy some time to recover. The judges scored the contest all for Ballard, 80-72, 79-73, and 78-74.
D’Mitrius Ballard remains undefeated at (19-0, 12 KO's) while Alan Campa is now (17-4, 11 KO's).
