In the co-feature of the KBW Promotions card at Rosecroft Raceway in Fort Washington , MD heavyweight Mike “Silverback” Balogun of Upper Marlboro, MD stopped Marquis Valentine of Toledo, OH by TKO.

The undefeated Balogun opened the bout trying to find his range while coming up short on his jab. Things picked up as the contest went on with Balogun landing some right hands. With Balogun being the more busier fighter Valentine had no offense of his own to win any rounds. In the fifth round Balogun really turned up the pressure by landing hard shots to the body and a flush shot to the head that sent Valentine down for an eight count. In the sixth round Balogun pressed for the knockout by landing more shots to the body of Valentine. It was a hard left hook that dropped Valentine for the second time in the bout, but it was a right, left combination to the head that sent Valentine down to end the contest. Referee waived the bout off at 2:29 of round six.

Mike Balogun remains undefeated at (13-0-10, KO's) while Valentine falls to (5-6, 3 KO's).

Jones improves to (10-1, 8 KO's) while Brown suffers his first lose and falls to ((8-1, 6 KO's)

Frederick, MD light heavyweight Larry "Hitman" Pryor drops a four-round majority decision to Greg "Hotshot" Hackett of Philadelphia, PA.

Hackett was the busier fighter in this contest. He did a lot of his work inside by landing some uppercuts to the body and slipping in a few looping shots to the head of Pryor. Pryor's downfall in this contest was him not using his height effectively and not throwing a consistent jab. Judge David Braslow saw the contest a draw with the score of 38-38, but was overruled by judges Kenny Chevalier and John Gradowski who scored it 39-37 for Hackett.

Greg Hackett add a win to his record making it (3-18-1) while Pryor falls to (10-18, 5 KO's).

Belch used his jab to get his distance in the opening round. Harris became more aggressive and was able to slide inside to land some good body and head shots. Belch gained control of the bout and was able to win by the score of 59-55 on all three judges scorecards.
