In front of a sold out crowd of 4,800 fan at the Live Casino Hotel in Hanover, Maryland, Laurel, MD super middleweight Demond "D'Best At It" Nicholson defeated Mike Guy of Sacramento, CA by 10-round Split Decision.

It was a good feel out opening round for both fighters. Nicholson jabbed to the body while Guy tried to counter. Nicholson used a single jab throughout the rounds but needed to double them up to keep Guy off of him. Guy adjusted to Nicholson's offense and landed a hard right hand to send Nicholson to the canvas early in the sixth round. Nicholson got back on his feet to finish the round but Guy put himself back into the fight. It was Guy who was coming forward trying to pressure Nicholson. As Nicholson stepped up his offense Guy returned with his own more aggressive offense but missed a lot of the punches. Nicholson stayed committed to his jab to pull out the split decision win. Judge scored the bout 96-93 for Guy and 95-94 twice for Nicholson.

Nicholson improves his record to (23-3-1, 20 KO's) as Guy falls to 12-5-1, 5 KO's).

Washington DC's Jordan "ShortDog" White defeated  Ronaldo "Criminal" Solis of Cancun, Mexico by seventh-round TKO for the vacant WBC Youth Intercontinental Super Featherweight title.

White put things together early in the opening round by using his jab to set up a combination that ended with a left hand to send Solis falling into the ropes. White landed that same left hand but this time it was perfectly placed to drop Solis to the canvas for the eight count to close the first-round. In the second-round White kept the pressure up by landing more combinations to back Solis into a corner. White was very consistent with his jab as he used it to control the contest. In the seventh-round White landed a straight left hand that sent Solis falling flat on his back. Referee Kenny Chevalier started his count as Solis made it to his feet, but stopped the bout at 15 seconds of the seventh round because Solis didn't look steady on his feet.

Jordan White improves to (10-1, 8 KO's) while Solis falls to (4-2, 3 KO's).

In a 10-round battle for the Maryland State Cruiserweight title "Slick" Nick Kisner of Baltimore, MD defeated Greenbelt, MD's "Vanilla Gorilla" Sam Crossed by unanimous decision.

This bout was about the veteran Kisner taking on the less experienced Crossed. Crossed is known as the harder puncher with five KO's out of nine bouts but Kisner is the guy with more fights against better competition. Kisner didn't have a high output of punches in rounds one through five, but he turned the pressure up on Crossed by throwing more punches in the sixth round.

Crossed on the other hand did put together a large number of punches to win the early rounds. Neither fighter was able to hurt one another, but in the seventh round Kisner suffered a headbutt that put a pause in the action. That short break was enough for Crossed to recharge and land more shots to finish. It looks like Kisner's game plan was to take Crossed into the deeper rounds and use more pressure to get the win. The judges scored the bout 99-91 and 96-94 twice.

"Slick" Nick Kisner improves to (22-5-1, 6 KO's) while Sam Crossed suffers his first defeat and drops to (9-1-5, KO's).
