Brandon Quarles Heads To New York To Battle For His 21st Victory!
Alexandria, VA middleweight Brandon "Bulldog" Quarles (20-4-1, 10 KO's)will be taking on Todd Manuel (17-16-1, 5 KO's) of Rayne, LA in a eight-round bout Saturday, December 22 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. This will be Quarles second consecutive trip to the Barclays Center where he won an eight-round split decision over Marcus Willis on September 8th. Manuel has won two in a row with back-to-back knockouts. His last bout was on November 9th, where he scored a third-round TKO over Blake Franklin.
The Quarles vs. Manuel bout is part of the undercard that will be featured by the Charlo Twins defending their world titles and a battle of heavyweights Dominic Breazeale and Carlos Negron beginning at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. Jermall Charlo, who won a coin toss with his brother, will close the show in a 12-round WBC interim middleweight championship bout against Matt Korobov, while Jermell Charlo will battle Tony Harrison in defense of the WBC Super Welterweight World Title.
