Cassius Chaney Victorious In Philly!

Heavyweight Cassius Chaney of Baltimore, MD defeated Christian Mariscal of Tijuana, Baha California, Mexico by knockout on the Top Rank Promotions card at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA.

Chaney had no problem handling Mariscal in this scheduled sixth-round bout. Chaney sent Mariscal to the canvas early. Mariscal beat the eight-count, but Chaney continued the pressure to send him down for the final time. The bout was stopped at 2:16 of the first-round.

Chaney remains perfect at (15-0, 9 KO's) while Mariscal falls to (12-3, 5KO's).
