Tonight on a Kings Promotions card, Owings Mills, MD heavyweight Colby Madison defeated Emilio Salas of Yonkers, NY by way of Coamo, Puerto Rico fby second round knockout at the Sugar House Casino in Philadelphia, PA.
Madison used good movement throughout round one to avoid the offense of Salas. Madison's jab set up some good looping right hands that connected to the head of Salas, causing him to hold on to Madison as the bell sounded to end round one. Madison opened up the next round with some good jabs and a solid right to the head of Salas to drop him to the canvas. Salas tried to get up but was too stunned to continue. The referee put a stop to the contest at 23 seconds into the second round.
Madison improves to (8-0-2, 5 KO's) while Salas falls to (5-3-1, 3 KO's).
