Mykal "The Professor" Fox Continues To Win Impressively!

Mykal "The Profess" Fox, the southpaw jr. welterweight out of Upper Marlboro, MD defeated Eudy "AK-47" Bernardo of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic by 10-round unanimous decision on a Kings Promotions card at the Wind Creek Event Center in Bethlehem, PA.

Fox put on a dominating performance as he used excellent foot movement to work inside and outside while landing clean shots on Bernardo. It was in rounds two-four where Fox's punch count and accuracy seemed to visibly bother Bernardo. Fox's pressure increased as the bout continued to go into the deeper rounds. Bernardo looked to have a moment as he threw some shots, but they weren't effective enough to stop Fox from keeping his jab working. 

Fox staggered Bernardo in the eighth round with a straight left-right combination. At the end of the eighth referee Eric Dali took a good look at the corner of Bernardo to see if he could continue on in this contest. Bernardo answered the bell, but didn't have much to offer as the final two rounds came to a end. All three judges scored the bout a shutout for Fox with the scores of 100-90.  

Mykal Fox improves his record to (21-1, 5 KO's) while Bernardo falls to (25-5, 18 KO's).
