2011 Nationals Champion Michael Reed looks for 2nd in a row

The Regional Golden Gloves Championships were held last night at the Jaycees Community Center in Waldorf, Md. It was another packed house for the Washington area organizer of the Golden Gloves (Bobby Magruder).  All of the winners from last nights bouts now hold the title of Regional Champions. The next stage for them will be the National Golden Gloves Tournament of Champions on April 29-May 6, 2012 at the CasaBlanca Resorts Event Center in Mesquite Nevada. Michael Reed is no stranger at the National Tournament. He is the 2011 National Golden Gloves Champion and will be looking for another title in the next few weeks. There will be 9 more Regional Champions making the trip to Nevada with 141 lb Michael Reed.
