Ty Barnett says his past is the reason he is so dedicated to what he does now and that's "FIGHTING".
Yes he admits that he had a troubled past, but the past is the past and he is very focused on being one of the best fighters in the sport of boxing. Barnett is a laid back guy that spends his time when he is outside the ring helping kids in the gym and being with his family and friends. He is 19-2 (12KO's) and will be looking for his 20th victory on May 12, 2012 against Robert "Don't Lose" Daluz from Providence, RI. This will be Barnett's second consecutive fight in DC and he said he would have loved for all his fights to have been in his hometown. Ty Barnett says he isn't going to promise a knockout but he is going to fight to win. He knows he wants to put on a great show for the fans and he says that's what he is going to give them.
