Saturday night, June 13, on HBO’s “Boxing After Dark” undercard, held at New York City’s Theater at Madison Square Garden. Mike "Yes Indeed" Reed (14-0, 8 KO's) will take on Puerto Rico’s Luis Joel Gonzalez (11-1-1, 6 KOs) in an 8 round contest promoted by Top Rank, in association with All-Star Boxing. This bout will be part of the main event, Jamaica’s Nicholas “The Axe Man” Walters (25-0, 21 KOs) defends his WBA World Featherweight Title against Colombia’s Miguel Marriaga (20-0, 18 KOs), and in the co-main event, Puerto Rico’s Felix Verdejo (17-0, 13 KOs) will battle San Antonio’s Ivan Najera (16-0, 8 KOs). The fight card on June 13 takes place on the eve of the annual Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York City.
