On the Kings Promotions card inside the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA, Forestville, MD junior lightweight Evgueny Metchenov dropped a four-round unanimous decision to Joshafat Ortiz of Reading, PA by way of Ponce, Puerto Rico. Ortiz was the more dominating fighter in this bout. He used his speed to out punch Metchenoz in every round. All three judges scored the contest 40-36 for Ortiz.
Metchenov, originally from Sofia, Bulgaria is now (0-2) while Ortiz improves to (3-0, one KO).
