Jordan "The Kidd" Peters Suffers Second Defeat In His Young Boxing Career!

(Photos by Daniel Cork)

On a King's Promotions card last night at the Sugar House Casino in Philadelphia, PA, lightweight Jordan Peters out of Washington, DC lost by TKO to Joshafat Ortiz of Reading, PA.

The bout started off with Peters being the more aggressive fighter. Peters landed a hard counter shot to send Ortiz to the canvas in the first-round. Ortiz gathered himself and was able to finish the round.

Things changed drastically in the second-round for Peters. Ortiz put some clean shots together and was able to land a solid punch that sent Peters down in the middle of the round. Peters got back up, but clearly looked bothered. Ortiz didn't give Peters a chance to recover by jumping back on him, sending Peters into the corner where the referee stopped the bout at 2:13 of the second-round.

Jordan Peters record falls to (2-2-1, 2 KO's) while Ortiz is now (4-0-1, 2 KO's).
