Successful Professional Debut For Lorenzo "Truck" Simpson!

In the exciting build up of Baltimore, MD's Lorenzo Simpson professional debut on the Shabazz Brotherz card inside the  A.C. Jordan Arena on the campus of Bowie State University, he pleased the crowd with a first round TKO victory over Deandre West of Winston-Salem, NC. 


Known for his outstanding accomplishments as a decorated amateur, Simpson (18) took that same intensity into his first fight as a professional. Simpson proved to have power as he landed hard shots from the sound of the opening bell. Referee Kenny Chevalier noticed that Simpson's shots to the body and head of West was just too much and stopped the bout at 1:26 of the first-round.

Simpson starts his career off at (1-0, 1 KO) while West is now (0-3).
