Dusty Harrison talks about his early boxing career.

Dusty talked about being 16 years old and deciding with his parents to make the leap into professional boxing at the age of 17. He said that he was excited when he found out that different promotional companies were inquiring about him. His dad Buddy Harrison and mom Lynda Hernandez being not just his parents but also his managers have been doing a great job at keeping Dusty active. Harrison has a record of 4-0 with 2 KO's and is getting ready for his 5th fight on April 7th on the James Toney vs Bobby Gunn under card at the DeSoto Civic Center in Southaven, Mississippi and 6th fight on May 12th back at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Six fights in just under a year for the young boxing star. Not bad at all. Harrison seems to handle the criticism very well from the doubters that said he was too young to become a professional fighter. He loves each and every one of his fans. After every fight he takes the time to thank each one, take pictures, and sign autographs. His dad says he plans to keep Dusty fighting in the DC area as long as he possibly can.
