Jakub Sowirko of Trenton, NJ defeated Washington DC's Charles Johnson by majority decision in a four-round cruiserweight contest at the Pennsbury Racquet Club in Morrisville, PA.
It was a competitive performance from both fighters but Sowirko edged out Johnson in the third round by landing a shot that severely wobbled Johnson. Johnson didn't go down, but that was the deciding moment of the contest. One judge scored the contest a 38-38 draw while the other two judges scored it 40-36 and 39-37 for Sowirko.
Charles Johnson falls to (1-3, 1 KO) while Jakub Sowirko starts his career at (1 -0).
