Brown Captures NABO Jr. Lightweight Title In Washington, DC!

In the co-main event of the Tricky Entertainment / DC Fight Night card at the Entertainment and Sports Arena in SE, Washington, DC Tiara Brown defeated Angel Gladney by TKO to capture the jr. lightweight NABO title.
Brown used her jab well to control Gladney in the opening round. In the beginning of the second round Gladney tried to be aggressive as she threw a number of shots that didn't have any effect on Brown. Brown took back control as she landed multiple combinations to back Gladney off of her. In the fourth round Brown landed some beautiful uppercuts when the two fighter were in close. At the midway point of the bout Brown landed some hard straight right hands and followed them up with some hard hooks to the head of Gladney. In round six Brown landed some of the same vicious shots causing referee Kenny Chevalier to stop the contest at 34 seconds of the six round.
Brown remains undefeated at (8-0, 6 KO's) while Angel Gladney falls to (10-15-1, 6 KO's).
