DeMarcus "CHOP CHOP" Corley Is Looking To Fight Anybody

DeMarcus Corley has been looking for opponents to fight in the 135 lb- 140 lb weight classes. So far he hasn't had any luck. He is wondering what the problem is and he doesn't seem to have a answer. Is it that the  fighters in those weight classes are afraid of a older fighter making them look bad inside the ring.

Corley released a statement today calling out Karim Mayfield

DeMarcus “Chop Chop” Corley Answers the Call for Karim Mayfield Again

Over the past couple of days I have been reading and hearing how Karim Mayfield is looking for a new opponent, and they are willing to take on all comers. Well apparently that isn’t the case at all. I’m here to say that they don’t have to look very hard. Not only would I love to fight Karim Mayfield, but over the past couple of days my team has reached out twice about this fight and been turned down twice. So, instead of going to Karim’s promoter I want to put this challenge directly in front of Karim. I’m confident and ready to accept this challenge Karim, and your August 17th fight date fits perfectly on my calendar. I don’t personally have anything against Karim Mayfield and I think he’s talented young fighter, but he’s not ready for me yet and I want to prove that in front of the world. My last two fights have been big wins for me, but make no mistake about it, I expected to win those fights just as I expect to beat Karim Mayfield. Karim, we’re both ranked by the WBA at 140 and interestingly enough rumor has it that the Junior Welterweight Interim WBA Championship was just vacated by Marcos Maidana. Perhaps we can petition the WBA to recognize this fight as an Interim World Title fight. I’m standing right here Karim, and I’m ready here and now to step up. How about you?

Sincerely,

DeMarcus “Chop Chop” Corley
