Gervonta Davis Gets Eighth Round Knockout Against Francisco Fonseca!

Even after being stripped of his IBF junior lightweight title at Friday's weigh-in after coming in two pounds over the limit Gervonta Davis bounced back with a eighth round stoppage win over Francisco Fonseca at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Davis didn't have the strong start he normally has in the early rounds. He even did a little showboating in the fourth-round, which was out of the norm for him. It was in the sixth and seventh rounds where Davis landed some hard shots to the body and head of Fonseca. In the eighth-round Davis landed a clean body shot and followed it with a hook to the head of Fonseca that seemed to hurt him. It was a grazing blow to the back of the head that sent Fonseca to the canvas and it was considered a clean punch to end the fight.

Gervonta Davis improves to (19-0, 18 KOs) while Francisco Fonseca takes his first defeat and falls to (19-1-1, 13 KOs).

Immanuwel Aleem Gets First Career Loss In Oklahoma!

In the co-feature middleweight bout Immanuwel Aleem suffered his first defeat by knockout to Hugo Centeno at the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami Oklahoma.

Centeno was using his jab to keep Aleem at a distance to maintain control of the first and second rounds. Aleem was able to get inside for only a short time as Centeno used his footwork to avoid Aleems attack. In round three Centeno landed the left hand to the head of Aleem that sent him down to the canvas that ended the fight at 2:27 of the third.

Immanuwel Aleem is now (17-1-1, 10 KO's) while Centeno improves to (26-1, 14 KO's).

Demond Nicholson Dominates In Oklahoma!

Laurel, MD super middleweight Demond "D'BestAtIt" Nicholson had a good showing at the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, Oklahoma.

Nicholson faced Josue Obando of Guadalajara Mexico in a scheduled eight-round contest. Nicholson pressed forward the entire time of the bout. He was able to land multiple body shots as the first-round was ending. In round two Nicholson continued to land hard shots to Obando's body and those shots looked to be effective. Obando was backed up against the ropes and Nicholson used that to his advantage by continuing to work the body until the bell sounded. After making it to his stool Obando was unable to answer the bell for the start of round three and the referee stopped the contest. Nicholson won the bout by TKO and improves his record to (18-2-1, 17 KO's). Obando is now (15-17-1, 12 KO's).
