Jeter Promotions Plans Triple Threat

(Flyer by Juan Marshall)

Tony "Mo Better" Jeter (15-3-1, 10 KO's) is planning to be handling things both inside and outside of the ring on August 3, 2013. Jeter is not only a world ranked fighter, he is the promoter of Jeter Promotions. Jeter has plans to defend his WBC Middleweight Fecarbox title on the card.

Phil Jackson Benson (12-1, 11 KO's) is a native of Brooklyn, NY, but he's been calling Landover, MD his home for the past three years. Jackson is coming off his biggest win of his career so far by defeating Maxell Taylor on May 11, 2013 with a seventh-round TKO for the WBC Fecarbox Super Middleweight Championship. Jackson will also be defending his WBC title on the Jeter Promotions card.

James "Keep Em Sleepin" Stevenson (18-0, 11 KO's) completes the Triple Threat card. Stevenson will also battle for a vacant title (TBA). Stevenson's last bout was a four rounder in November when he defeated  Damon Antoine.

The opponents for the three upcoming bout are TBA by Jeter Promotions.

Thompson Gives Price A Second Chance

Tony "The Tiger" Thompson surprised a sold out crown full of  David Price fans on February 23. Thompson  (37-3, 25 KO's) landed a solid right hand that ended the fight sooner than Price (15-1, 13 KO's) planned, and leaving him with a shocking loss on his record.

Thompson, 41, initially didn't like the rematch idea, but Price, 29, had the clause in the contract, so there wasn't much Thompson could do. Promoter Frank Maloney says that both Price and his trainer wanted the immediate rematch because they feel that the Thompson loss was a fluke.
