GQ Promotions Prepares For Their Second Professional Boxing Card!

On July 15 GQ Promotions will be inside the Sphinx Club in Washington, DC. 



Undefeated Montgomery Village, MD welterweight Gerome Quigley (16-0, 15 KO's) who will be in the main event challenging undefeated (6-0, six KO's) Luis Hernandez of Chihuahua, Mexico in a 10-round bout for the vacant USBO Welterweight title. Quigley is coming off of a fourth-round TKO victory over Dennis Sharpe at the University of the District of Columbia Physical Activities Center in DC back on March 25th. All of Hernandez wins have been in Mexico and he hasn't been past four rounds yet. 


Bowie, MD's Luther "Lights Out" Smith (8-1, seven KO's) will face Karinn Davis (2-6, 2 KO's) of Jackson, MI in a six-round cruiserweight bout. 


In another cruiserweight bout Greenbelt, MD "The Vanilla Gorilla" Sam Crossed (5-0, 3 KO's)  (4-10, 3 KO's) will be in his first six-rounder when he faces James Jones of Nashville, TN.


The Bell Twins, Jason and Justin of District Heights, MD both will be in four-round bouts. Jason Bell (2-0, 1 KO) will take on the debuting Dameron Kirby while twin brother Justin Bell (1-0) will take on (0-4-1) Erik Plumeri of Lockport, NY.

Undefeated middleweight Francisco Bustos (5-0, 3 KO's) of Rockville, MD has been out of the ring for over a year but will make his return against Corwin Farmer (1-1) of North Carolina in a four-round contest. 

In another four-round bout Fort Washington, MD super middleweight Leo Alcanera (1-0) will battle George Sheppard (0-1) of Newport News, VA.

Two local DMV area fighters will be making their professional debuts. Lightweight Dante Cox of Laurel, MD will face Archie Weah of Norcross, GA by way of Monrovia, Liberia and super welterweight Rashad Kirkpatrick of Waldorf, MD will face the also debuting Martegus Martin.
