In the main - event, super lightweight Greg Outlaw of Bowie, MD won by 8-round unanimous decision over Willie Shaw of Vallejo, CA.

Good opening round for both Outlaw and Shaw as they used their jabs to find the distance they needed to land scoring shots. It was Outlaw who continued to land at will with Shaw trying to counter punch with little success. In the fifth, sixth and seventh rounds both fighters moved the action to the center of the ring where they matched each other with counter punches. In the final round it was Outlaw with the higher output of punches that landed. Shaw landed some shots of his own, but it wasn't enough to win the judges over. All three judges scored the contest for Outlaw with the scores of 79-73 and 78-74 twice.

In round two both fighters had their moments of landing jabs, hooks and body shots. Much of the same action continued in round three. The closing rounds seemed to be going Brooker's way as he landed the harder shots and had Gubkin fighting in defensive mode.
