Maryland Boxers Successful In New York!

Bantamweight Antonio "Another" Russell out of Capitol Heights, MD scored a sixth-round TKO over Jose Maria Cardenas of Tijuana, Mexico.  Russell had no problems controling this contest. Russell was very active and accurate.

According to Gary Digital Williams of Boxing Along The Beltway,  As the bell rang to start the sixth round, Russell hit Cardenas with a stunning straight left hand.  Cardenas backed into a neutral corner and Russell swarmed him.  After just 22 seconds of action in the sixth, the ringside doctor told the referee to stop the bout.

Russell remains undefeated at (13-0, 11 KO's) while Cardenas falls to (16-4, 13 KO's).


Landover, MD welterweight Tyrek "I.G.B." Irby won a unanimous decision over Dennis Okoth of Kenya in a six-round bout. Irby sent Okoth down for a early eight count in the opening round.

Irby is now 7-0, two KO's.  Okoth drops to 2-2-1, one KO.


Baltimore, MD middleweight Aaron Anderson returned from an almost two-year absence to win a four-round unanimous decision over Chukka "The Lion King" Willis of Emporia, KS.  Anderson went the distance for the first time in his young career and won by shutout (40-36) one all three cards.  Anderson is now 4-0, three KO's while Willis is 4-10, three KO's.

Dominic Wade Gets Second Stoppage This Month!



In a scheduled eight-round light heavyweight Dominic "Lights Out" Wade of Largo, MD scored a fifth-round TKO over veteran Josue Obando of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico at the  Center Stage@NoDa in Charlotte, NC. This is the second win in February for Wade. He is coming off a 1st round stoppage over Martin Fidel Rios on February 1st in Rochester, New York.

Wade's record improves to (20-1, 14 KO's) while his opponent Obando falls to (16-26-1, 12 KO's).
