Not 10 but 11 rounds for Martinez.

TKO win at the end of the 11th ground and still the WBC Middleweight Champion of the World Sergio Martinez. Not a 10th round KO like promised but Martinez turned up the heat after he was knocked down in the 7th round. He put Macklin down twice at the end of round 11 and that was more than enough for his corner to stop the fight.

Tax Man waits for Pac-Man

Forbes Magazine ranked Pacquiao as the world's 24th richest athlete last year. Tax officials have filed a complaint against World Champion Boxing Star Manny Pacquiao for failure to submit tax documents to investigators for his tax returns. If there is enough evidence Prosecutors will decide to bring the case to court. If convicted Pacquiao could face up to two years in prison. Pacquiao failed to submit documents after three notices and a subpoena so Rozil Rozares regional director for the Bureau of Internal Revenue says a complaint has been filed. With the many businesses and endorsements that Pacquiao has there were discrepancies in his 2010 tax return.

Martinez vs Macklin Live on HBO

Both fighters hit the scale last night and made the weight to keep the process moving forward. Martinez weighed in at 157.5 lbs and Macklin weighted 158 lbs. Both Martinez and Macklin say they are ready for their fight with each other. Sergio Martinez a few days ago says he is going to win by KO. Macklin isn't going to let that happen and assures Martinez will have his work cut out for him. So the fighters will go head to head tonight at Madison Square Gardens in New York for the WBC Middleweight Title. The fight is scheduled for 12 rounds and will air live on HBO.

Buddy Harrison talks 4th win and Peterson vs Khan II

Buddy Harrison took time today to talk about the wins that his son Dusty Harrison has. Dusty being just 17 years old has been getting criticized about the quality of his opponents. At just 17 he has a record of 4-0 with 2 KO's. Some people say that all the fighters have been old or didn't belong in the ring. Buddy Harrison's response the them are " He's my son and he's only 17. I'm going to protect him and build him up slowly. I don't care what people think or say." Dusty's last two fights have been at the Washington Convention Center and both were first round KO's. His next bout will take place at the same location May 12, 2012. Keystone Promotions has been putting events together in the DC area and they have been doing a great job at it. Team Dusty is always happy to fight on a Keystone Promotion card. They even made Dusty the main event on the last card March 10, 2012. Harrison is a free agent and it seems like he will be fighting in DC for as long as he can. He has a great home fan base and his Team thinks this is the best decision for Dusty right now. Who knows what will happen when Dusty turns 18. His first KO win was on the Khan vs Peterson under card and A Golden Boy Promotions Event on HBO.

Today the press conference for the Peterson vs Khan II rematch was held in Washington DC. Buddy Harrison made the prediction of a Peterson win in the first bout they had. Harrison was so confident of a Peterson win that he said he would bet his house on it. Harrison still owns his home and is predicting another Peterson win. This time by a 11th round KO.

Both camps seem to have much respect for each other, but in the back of the minds of Khans camp they feel they have something to prove. Not being said directly at the press conference Khan seems as if he was cheated out of his title. Peterson feels that he put on a great performance for his fans in DC, and he also feels he has worked hard for his new title and is willing to die inside the ring to keep it. Peterson is showing he has the heart of a true champion and isn't going to make easy work for Khan in Las Vegas May 19, 2012. Khan's camp says all the tickets are sold out in the UK for the fight here in the US and the fans will be here in great numbers. Peterson says he has been training the date he stepped out of the ring back on Dec. 10 2011. The winner of this fight will move on and it looks like the Peterson vs Khan trilogy will come to an end on May 19.

Before & After the Fight with Dusty Harrison

In the dressing room is where Harrison spent most of his time relaxing, listening to music and chatting with the other fighters before their bouts. Dusty always takes time from is preparation to take photos with the other fighters even when they fight before him. He looks cool, calm, and collective as he gets his hands wrapped. His father and trainer Buddy Harrison does the biggest part by putting on the gloves. Flip Johnson finishes Harrison's prep work by warming Dusty up with a few minutes of mitt work. Now it's time to head for the ring. Before every fight Dusty Harrison starts it with a prayer and after the fight he always greats his fans.
