Keystone Boxing Keeping Professional Boxing Alive in the DMV!

Keystone Boxing Promotions has and still are doing a great job keeping the Beltway Boxing area full of exciting fight cards throughout the year. They loaded up the 2012 year with eight months of continuous live action.

Keystone Boxing not only put on countless shows, but they gave some of the best amateur fighters in the country that live right here in the Beltway Boxing area their professional starts. It's been boxers like Kevin Rivers Jr (8-0, 6 KO's), Jerry Odom (4-0, 4 KO's), Jarrett Hurd  (7-0, 4 KO's) and in 2013 Mike Reed (4-0, 3 KO's) and many others started their careers through Keystone Boxing.

Gene Molovinsky is a promoter of few words, but a guy that knows how to put on a professional fight card. The next card coming up on September 7 will be another example of the kind of cards that Keystone puts together. The card will be at the Rosecroft Raceway in Fort Washington, Md.

One featured bout on the card will be a super middleweight contest between Landover, MD's "The Real Deal" Phil Jackson Benson (12-1, 11 KO's) taking on Scott "Cujo" Sigmon (23-4, 12 KO's) of Lynchburg, VA.

The second featured bout will be a battle between two of the taller junior middleweights is boxing. 6'-5" Alantez "SlyAza" Fox (11-0-1, 4 KO's) will face 6'-2" Zain "Tiger" Shah (5-1, 3 KO's).

The third bout featured on the card will be Mike "Yes Ideed" Reed in his first six rounder against Ramesis Gill (8-6-5, 5 KO's) of the Dominican Republic.

Keystone is still putting a complete card together and will be adding more bouts for the September 7 show.

New Moves For Two Beltway Boxers!

Undefeated super middleweights Jerry Odom (4-0, 4 KO's) and Dominic Wade (12-0, 9 KO's) both made different business moves in their boxing careers.

Odom has signed with GH3 Promotions out of New Jersey. GH3 is the same promotion that signed another Beltway Boxing standout Antoine "Action" Douglas (8-0, 6 KO's).

Jerry Odom's last time inside the ring was May 18 at the UDC Physical Activities Center in Washington, DC. All of Odom's KO's has been in the first round.

Odom is scheduled for his first GH3 bout Saturday, September 13 at the Robert Treat Hotel in Newark, NJ.

Dominic Wade has had a considerable amount of time outside the ring, but made a strong comeback with a second round TKO victory over Marcus Brooks February 22 at the DC Armory.

It's been reported that Wade has given the managerial duties of his career to one of the most popular names in professional boxing Al  Haymon.
