Harrison wins Fifth Fight

Dusty Harrison was at the Landers Center in Southaven, Mississippi on Saturday April 7, 2012 where he faced his fifth opponent and veteran of 50 fights Anthony Bowman. Harrison moved up to light middleweight 153lbs to fight Bowman. The weight wasn't an issue for Harrison. The only issue was fighting a guy with some dirty veteran tactics. Outside the ring Anthony Bowman seemed to be the nicest gentleman but inside he was the sneaky veteran. It was a 4 round bout that Harrison and Bowman fought. Harrison overcame the veteran tactics Bowman threw at him by staying poised every round. This is where the amateur ring experience that Harrison had in the past came out to work in his favor. This is the very reason why Dusty along with his parents and managers Buddy Harrison and Lynda Hernandez   made the decision to enter into professional boxing. All three judges scored the bout in Dusty Harrison's favor 40-36 for the unanimous decision win over Bowman.  Harrison moves on to 5-0 (2KO's) and will be fighting again next month back in Washington, DC May 12, 2012 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Tickets should be available April 9, 2012.
