On Tuesday morning I received a call from DeMarcus Corley stating that he was getting prepared to get his medicals for his upcoming fight against Frankie Gomez when he found out that the card was cancelled. "I'm about to go home and unpack my bags" Corley said. I could hear in Corley's voice that he was very upset. He stated that his opponent was hurt during training, and he would call me back after he found out what kind of injury Gomez suffered. A short while later Corley called back and said "Gomez blew his knee out".
