Lamont Peterson Defends IBF Title For The 3rd Time Convincingly!

Lamont Peterson and Edgar Santana started round one off slow, but Peterson came out stronger each round after by landing numerous hard body shots that broke Santana down slowly. Well into rounds six and seven Peterson started making the fight look like a sparring session. Peterson won round after round with concistant body shots that kept Santana in defensive mode throughout the entire fight.
Peterson began to mix up his shots by landing power punches to both the head and body to get the ringside physician Bobby Jordan to step in and stop the bout at 2:48 in round 10 by TKO.

Lamont Peterson goes to (33-2-1, 17 KOs) while Edgar “El Camacho” Santana falls to (29-5, 20 KOs).
