On Saturday, July 11th at the USF Sundome in Tampa, FL two Beltway Boxers will be on the undercard of the Keith Thurman vs Luis Collazo championship bout that will be shown on ESPN. ESPN has ended it's Friday Night Fights broadcast and now will be broadcasting on Saturdays.
Both Peterson and Russell hit the scale yesterday, Friday July 10th. Peterson will be in a ten round contest against Rameses Gil. Peterson weighed in at 138 lbs while Gil weighed 137 lbs.
Russell will be in a six round bout against Jaxel Marrero. Russell weighed 118 lbs while Jaxel Marrero tipped the scale at 119 pounds.
These two bouts will not be part of the televised broardcast.
