Local DC area Golden Boy Promotion fighters Lamont Roach, Jr., D'Mitrius "Big Meech" Ballard and Kevin "K-Smoove" Rivers, Jr., are making up part of the local portion of a card which will feature Las Vegas, NV welterweight Jessie Vargas, who is scheduled to battle Sadam "World Kid" Ali of Brooklyn, NY for the vacant WBO Welterweight title.
Also interim WBA Heavyweight title that will include the champion, Luis Ortiz of Miami, FL by way of Cuba against an opponent to be determined. The two feature bouts are slated to make up an HBO Boxing After Dark telecast at the DC Armory.
