Undercard Results From Tricky Entertainment Professional Boxing Card In Washington, DC!

Here are the early results for the Tricky Entertainment and DC Fight Night professional boxing at the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington, DC.

In the opening bout George Harris of Silver Spring, MD defeated Lamar Lewis of Conway, Arkansas by knockout. 


Harris was able to overpower Lewis with some good body work. He dropped Lewis with two body shots in the third-round. Lewis was able to beat the count, but Harris continued his attack causing the referee to stop the bout at 2:00 of round three.

George Harris is now (2-0, 2 KO's) while Lewis is still looking for his first win with a record of (0-4).

In a four-round super middleweight contest Kiante Irving of Beaver Falls, PA got a TKO victory over George Sheppard. 

Irving allowed Sheppard to get in close early in the first-round to make things a little uncomfortable. Irving made quick adjustments and was able to find his range to land some good jabs and body shots. In the second-round Irving landed a crushing right hand to the head of Sheppard that dropped him to the canvas. Sheppard beat the count, but clearly was unable to continue. The bout was stopped at 1:06 of the second round.


Irving improves to (3-0, 3 KO's) while Sheppard is now (1-5-1).

Alexander Johnson out of Washington, DC wins by unanimous decision over Mengistu Zarzar of Palmer Park, MD. 

It was a up and down battle of two southpaw light heavyweights. Both fighters didn't get off to a good start. Johnson is coming off a two year layoff. Even with the lack of activity Zarzar seemed to be the more active fighter. Johnson did find a home for his right hand and was able to land some good body  and head shots. All the judge scored the bout for Johnson, 58-56 and 59-55 twice.

Johnson improves tom (17-4-1, 7 KO's) while Zarzar is now (6-6-1, 5 KO's)

Antonia Magruder of Washington DC and Matt Murphy of St. Louis, MO battled to a majority draw.




In this four-round jr. welterweight bout Magruder used his jab to keep Murphy at a distance. In the second round Murphy landed a hard looping right hand to the head that wobbled Magruder. In the third round Magruder was on the defensive while Murphy stayed aggressive. Magruder found his way back into the fight by using his jab to back up Murphy to gain some ground. One judge scored the bout 39-37 for Magruder while the other two saw it the same at 38-38.

Magruder is now (5-0-1, 4 KO's) while Mat Murphy has a record of (3-30-4, 2 KO's).

Jordan "Short Dog" White of Washington, DC won by TKO over Ndira Spearman of Lavergne, TN.



After coming of a first round TKO win just over twenty days ago in California, White did the same tonight in Washington, DC. White landed some good jabs and hard body shots on Spearman to send him down twice in the opening round to get the bout stopped at 2:02. 

Jordan White is now (7-1, 5 KO's) and Spearman falls to (1-4).

I a scheduled six-round welterweight bout Kareem Martin of Washinton, DC defeated Andrew Rodgers of Elkhart, IN by unanimous decision.

Martin got the win, but it was a battle that he had to find a way to land shots due to all the holding that took place in each round. When Martin found a opening he took advantage of it and landed some good shots. All three judges scored it the same 59-55 for Martin.

Martin is now (11-2, 3 KO's) while Rodgers is now (4-5-1, 2 KO's).
