Beltway Boxers Scheduled For Action Saturday Night At The MGM National Harbor!



Saturday night's action at the MGM National Harbor will be headlined by undefeated former champion Brian Carlos Castano against veteran contender Wale "Lucky Boy" Omotoso, plus former world champions Javier "El Abejon" Fortuna and Jesús Andrés Cuellar as the co-feature. Ryan "Cowboy" Karl will take on Costa Rica's Berman Aguilar in a 10-round welterweight fight. David Morrell Jr. will be taking on Quinton Rankin in an eight-round light heavyweight contest. 



The PBC on FOX card begins at 10:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. PT.


Two of the Russell brothers will compete as part of the preliminary bouts. Gary Antuanne Russell (11-0, 11 KO's) from Capitol Heights, MD battling Panama's Juan Huertas (14-2-1, 10 KO's) in a 10-round super lightweight. Unbeaten contender Antonio Russell will be in a 10-round bantamweight contest against Mexico's Samuel Gutierrez. 


The preliminary bouts will start at 9pm ET / 6pm PT on FS1 are FS2.


On the non-televised portion of the card, super lightweight Patrick Harris from Hyattsville, MD will battle Brazil's Joaquim Carneiro in a eight-round contest. Also in another eight-round contest, lightweight Dravontay Rawls of Glenarden, Maryland will take on Newark, New Jersey's Wanzell Ellison.

The undercard will have undefeated welterweight Tyrek Irby from Landover, MD taking on Joaquin Chavez of Las Angeles in a eight-round bout.  The unbeaten Keeshawn Williams of District Heights, MD will be in a eight-round super welterweight fight and undefeated Shyngyskhan Tazhibay of Kazakhstan is scheduled for a six-round super welterweight bout. 

The doors open at 6pm and the first fight starts at 6:10pm.
