Baltimore, MD welterweight Ibrahim Robinson recently signed a professional boxing contract with Marshall Kaufman of King's Promotions in March of 2023. Robinson previously (4-0-1, 4 KO's) started his career as an unsigned fighter with hopes of connecting with a promoter that could move him in the direction him and his team wanted to go. It looks like Ibrahim found what he wanted from Marshall Kaufman and made his King's Promotions debut on Friday night, April 7, 2023 at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA.
Ibrahim was in a scheduled six-round welterweight contest against Jahqwon Humbert of Raleigh, North Carolina. It didn't take long for Robinson to continue his knockout streak as he delivered a first-round stoppage of Humbert. Robinson sent Humbert to the canvas on three different occasions. The first two times were by solid right hands. It was a left hook that caused the third and final knock down. As soon as Humbert hit the canvas, referee Harvey Dock waived off the fight. Ibrahim Robinson improves his record to (5-0-1, 5 KO's).
