Deric Scooter Davis 2012 Golden Gloves Champion

Coach Flip Johnson set the bar high for 9 year old Deric Scooter Davis. Back in December 2011 Coach Johnson made the 2012 Golden Gloves Champion the goal to achieve for 9 year old Davis. Representing the Old School Boxing Gym on March 3, 2012 at the Sugar Ray Leonard Community Center Scooter won the Golden Gloves Championship. This is a huge achievement for Coach Johnson and Scooter Davis because Scooter only has been an Amateur fighter for just 4 months and the championship win was his 6th fight of his career.
