Unbeaten Middleweight Champion Martin Malley had to withdraw from the fight with Chavez Jr. because he was unable to obtain the visa he needed to enter the United States due to legal problems.
Julio Cesar Chavez will be facing either unbeaten super welterweight Vanes Martirosyan or middleweight Andy Lee. The bout will take place at the Sun Bowl in El Paso, TX and will be televised on HBO World Championship Boxing.
