Gary "Digital" Williams plays a huge part in boxing around the DC, Maryland, and Virginia areas. He has been covering boxing close to if not more than 30 years. In 2009 Gary was inducted into the Washington DC Boxing Hall Of Fame. He is also a featured writer on the popular boxing website Fightnews.com.
Gary is the creator of Boxing Along The Beltway boxingalongthebeltway.blogspot.com the most looked at boxing blog in the Washington DC area. Along with writing Gary was also the play-by-play announcer on the TV series "Boxing Spotlight" which highlighted professional boxing along the beltway. Many radio stations across the country has included Gary on their shows to talk about boxing because of his in depth knowledge of the sport. Gary's announcing experience moved him court side in 2008 when he served as public service announcer for the Men and Women's MEAC Basketball Champion Coppin State University Eagles.
