Team Reed arrived in Omaha, Nebraska on Thursday, (Thanksgiving) a few days before Mike Reed's upcoming bout against Oscar Valenzuela on the Top Rank promotions undercard featuring Terrance Crawford vs Raymundo Beltran for the WBO World lightweight title on HBO Saturday, November 29th.
On Friday, November 28th, Waldorf, MD's Mike "Yes Indeed" Reed, 11-0, (6 KO's) and Oscar Valenzuela, 8-0-1, (5 KO's) of El Paso, Texas hit the scale to get the official weights for their 8 round Light Welterweight contest at the Century Link Center on November 29th. Reed weighed in at 141 lbs while his opponent Valenzuela weighed 139 lbs. 
Top Rank founder and CEO Bob Arum feels that 21 year old Reed is very talented and he also is looking forward to a promising career for Mike Reed. The undercard bouts will be available on LIVE stream http://www.toprank.tv/ at
