The live BET telecast of the Roc Nation Sports Throne Boxing card was opened up with a eight round featherweight bout between Orlando Del Valle of Dorado, Puerto Rico and hometown Washington, DC native Thomas Snow. Del Valle came out and took over the fight early by sending Snow to the canvas once in the first then again in the second round with straight right hands. Snow was able find his way through the next few rounds, but couldn't seem to find the jab he needed. Del Valle continued to land more combinations to keep control of the entire bout. The judges saw the bout the same with the scores of 76-74 giving Orlando Del Valle the unanimous decision.
Del Valle improves 22-2 (16 KO's) while Thomas Snow falls to 18-3 (12 KO's).
